Thanks to everyone for coming Saturday. Many of us put in a long day to attend but special props go out to Grammps and Joe2Lawmaker for making the trip...very glad to have met and rode with you guys. I would be remiss not to thank Alex for playing the role of lead bike for most of the ride and also for [S]basically chauferring me[/S] riding with me from and back to Chicago on Saturday. I rode 602 miles on Saturday and Alex probably logged 50 or so more miles than that. It made for a long day but it was worth it! :thumbsupsmiley: Aside from meeting and hanging out with everyone, I've thought long and hard about the top three things from Saturday's ride: (insert drum roll here) Number three: Riding Mindoro Cut .... .... .... .... .... Number two: Our repeated rides over Wildcat (along with VStrom Bob's "faceplant" during the group photo ;) ... seriously, thanks for sacrificing yourself Bob!) .... .... .... ..... ...... Number one: Listening to Breadman's stories! :D Finally, the most surprising moment for me was OFace's description of his job. But I can appreciate a dramatic and somewhat shocking job description. After all, I sell tampons. ;) Thanks for the great day everyone!
