Good for you to make laptop entries along the way as it helps to not forget those little details that make the trip. We didn't have room on our trip for my "larger than it should be" laptop so we resorted to taking hand notes in a log, which takes (IMHO) even more discipline to do a the end of a long day on the road as I can type much faster and legibly than scribble. Your last entry drove home a good point, the real work has just begun when you arrive home and try to put all those memories and photos together as something coherent. Looks like you succeeded!
