U-Joint / Driveshaft?

I did a search here and cannot find anything similar to my issue, also tried to post a video with sound but can't seem to. Bike on the centrestand in gear, when I move the rear wheel back & forth there is a loud clunk where the u-joint would be. I realize there is a certain amount of normal play here but the noise seems excessive to me, my bike is an '09 with 30K miles on it, second owner. I'll keep trying to post a vid with sound.

It's called gear or driveline "lash" and perfectily normal. And it seems over the top when you don't have a load on it.

Do you expect to use your FJR by leaving it on the center stand with no load? If not, (.which is the correct answer) and there isn't noise when the bike is on the ground with load while you're riding it....don't worry.

I agree, perfectly normal. there are ways to reduce it but why?

Great replies. If the OP is concerned about services to the Ujoint, it's easy to do in your garage.
