Monday eve I tried to take a "shortcut" and ended up at about 8500 feet

This seems to be a habit with you. I enjoyed our dirt excursion.

The ride we where on.. elevation ? no problem.... kind of wild looking.... first ~5 miles of dodging pot holes and after that, when you think it couldn't get any worse, we rode ~10 miles of gravel.... I see OFace is looking to replace one of his bags. I think the POT HOLES / WASHBOARD road did a number on it. Yeah I enjoyed the hell out of that excursion as well.....it was good practice for the next time I follow OFace or Wheatie...

Anyway, this kind of ride is something one remembers for a while...

I did pull and cleaned my air filter, it was pretty dusty/dirdy.

LOL! I've got hundreds of pictures. Most out of focus or of my arm, or foot. I'll sort them and post something eventually. That picture is probably the best of them all.
