After the demise of my FJR that's route I took. Have to say other than the fact that it doesn't have the infinite power of the FJR it's just about perfect. Light, flickable,comfortable and likes gravel roads. My buddies say I ride it much faster in the twisties than on the FJR.

TILAM and squeezer, my best BMW riding friend is Uri "Beemerguy" Schumm. Uri and I have ridden all over the world on BMW's, just got back from riding the Alps with Uri. Uri has been riding Beemers one year longer than I have, I started in March of 1969 and Uri and his wife Sylvia picked up their BMW R60US from the Munich factory in June of 1968.

Uri is right on the brink on selling off his R1150RT for a Triumph Tiger 800, he likes the Trumpet that much. He rented the Tiger 800 for his Edelweiss Adriatic Roller Coaster Tour and once again for our Alps Extreme tour, this picture was taken in Slovenia. He loves the Tiger for the same exact reasons that you two do: Light, flickable, comfortable and just plain tears up the twisties!
