You and fapolo have already introduced yourself and can post....you posted here...and posted elsewhere. All seems good.

Don't know why you can't post at some place in particular, but guessing it's possibly a closed thread, you're not clicking the right thing, or something else.

You also are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to review several special board areas we have constructed just for new users including New Members Read This, Important Information for New Users, and Bin-O'-Facts of popular information for the various model years of FJRs. The members are most appreciated and helped are the ones that do a little work to see if a question has been asked before.

That you will review and understand the Board Guidelines that are very colorful in style, but also very important principles to understand and follow on the board.

Have fun talking about the board's main purpose....which if of course......FJRs.

The other reason we make new users introduce themselves is it's a VERY effective method for confusing SPAMbots that try and sell us Viagra. To date we've had thousands of SPAMbots register, but only 3 or 4 accidentally post to the right thread and get something through.

I feel like I've posted here before. Pretty sure you'll tell me I have. Anyway, I'm back. Bryan tells me I need to go back in and do this. So next time I try to "POST" and can't I can at least show him maybe that I did.

So I"m not having much luck. Then again, my LHS saddle bag just fell off last weekend while I was doing 70. I did not get hit and took the long skid pretty well - as these things go....

I'll be looking to paint this soon.

Post already, POST.

Why the hgh response limit before being able to post something? I have to admit it is a bit annoying not to be able to communicate new topics. Just providing feedback. :)

1 post is high? It separates you from SPAMBots and you've been able to post in any open thread (like this one) and start threads in almost all areas for 3 posts now.

Hi. This is my first time posting. up here in Andover, MN. Been Riding, off and on, for 25 years. First bike was an '82 CB900F, FJ1200, VTX1300 and now an FJR. Good to see so many of you out there. I have a '05 FRJ with 26k miles. Two issues. I just attempted to adjust the throttle bodies using the #3 as a baseline. Problem is, neither #3 or the others will get anywhere close to the recommended 25cm required. Any suggestions or recommendations? For now I just set them at 22 and called it good.

Second issue is the really rough and clunky idle during start up. Sounds like something is really taking a beating. Iv'e read some of the chat about that and everyone seems to have resolved to the fact that it's annoying, but OK? Just doesn't seem right. Didn't do it when I bought it at 9k miles. Any new information out there on this??

Any input is much appreciated.

PAUL

Greetings from the interior...or, from the EXTERIOR, it appears.

Seems I CAN post.......just not with a copy of my wonderful photo (he said modestly) or signature (it's my lifelong slogan and I'm dying to introduce you to it).

Let's see if introducing myself here does any good.

"See me? Feel me. (easy now)....Touch me.......Heal me." (relax, Daltrey....I altered it!)

Yes, I admit it. I'm a Who fan. Who isn't?

But I'm a biker; that's the main thing. Oh, and a thinker, too. A questioning thinker. (I almost always read the FAQ...but sometimes I also question authority.....and the FAQ's of the world don't like that.)

However, I AM a friendly guy. So PLEASE let me in!?#&@ (not cussing......just questioning.)

Later,

Uncle Mike
