Yamaha windshield

Today while at the dealership (new tires) I was perusing the yamaha accessory catalogue and noticed they have a bigger windshield for the FJR.

Anybody here ever have one? And if so, what did you think?

I used on for several years on my 07 and 08 FJR. I liked it and it was an improvement but it was not perfect for a 6'1" guy like me. I could get some buffeting with the wrong conditions.

I put one on my '08. It was an improvement but not what I wanted. It had significant wind noise and directed wind either to my chest or helmet.

I am 5' 9" with a slightly lowered Rick Mayer seat. I went with a Cee Bailey 4+1 flip and I love it.

Good luck with your windshield search, it is not a one brand or one size fits all situation.

Never tried one, I went with the Cee Bailey +2+2. Works for me. But if you keep an eye on the for sale section you can usually find one cheap to try.
