I talked to a member here (Catfish)?, asking him if he had any FJR dash's remaining. He said once they announced they were no longer making these dashes, they sold out quickly.

However, apparently the manufacturer MIGHT consider making another batch if we can get enough people willing to purchase one. That magic number is SUPPOSEDLY 20.

I have had NO contact with the manufacturer directly, but there's a CHANCE we can get them to make another batch.

Can we get enough people willing to purchase to get them to make one more run of these?

I have a gen II shelf sitting on my shelf. I personally like the bike better without it. So I don't use it.

Zed, I'd love to see a couple more pics of this from the front and sides. I have one and am waiting untill after I get a rifle shield to install it.

I"d like to see a bit more of your light mounts.

Chuck

I'm in for one made for a Gen II.

I also like the way Zed88 has his lights mounted. Start another thread on how you did it so the subject doesn't distract from this thread.

Hello. Just finished my dash install, it's been sitting in a box for a while. Spoke to Scott from N/Line and he confirmed the number for Gen II dash shelves was 20 (to make another batch). He would offer the forum a discounted price of $129, if we had twenty orders. Sounds like we might be around 4-5. Speak up here if you might be interested. We can get final confirmation (from all the maybes, etc.) if there is indeed more interest. So far I'm loving mine, especially when you throw that well nut in the nose. Makes it nice and tight.

I ran 5 rallies in 2012 utilizing a lot of ram mounts centered around an uber bone (tank bolts rambone except longer, thanks Dave). But I certainly like the scan pattern of having these devices above the FJR dash.

Can post some pics when I get devices remounted. No affiliation.

I just installed the N/Line shelf on my Gen I... does a great job holding all of my stuff. I added a place on the left side under the shelf for my radar detector and also added a bracket to the right side for temp and voltage gauges.

So Cap'n Bob, why is it you prefer your FJR without the shelf? Is it just a question of aesthetics or is it something functional? Since the FJR doesn't have the nice dash cowling of the C-10 I was figuring I was going to need a shelf to get my GPS up where I can easily see it while riding when I finally get an FJR.

Btw, I posted a M & G for Alex next weekend in Suffern on "our" calendar. He felt after all the Newburgh M & Gs being canceled due to weather he would try one farther South.
