Get whatever you like and can afford. You can find newer bikes with low milage. Buddy of mine just picked up an 05 with 3K miles. Just like new for $9K.

You hit the nail on the head! The test rider hasn't got it, and doesn't get it! And probably won't get it!!

Just add a touch of throttle until you hear a slight click. Then shift down to first.

Both warning lights are on the "AE" model. They are located just above the digital clock readout.

You got that right! Only reason to get the 07 now is if you didn't move on an 06 when you asked the question.

Another reason to deal with a dealer who sells a fair number of FJR's. I wouldn't take my FJR to a local dealer if my life depended on it. I either do the work or take it to a shop that has seen a number of FJR"s.

80% of all, not just motorcycle, extended warranties are never used. Big money maker for those selling them. The tactic's employed to sell them are like most sales tactics "fear". You ever have occasion to use the extended warranty?
