I'm with you ,they suck. I only got 4500 on a rear and went elsewhere. Currently running BT 021's front and rear. The front after 1000 miles shows slight wear on the sides but the rear is perfect. Less vibration too. I like them.

I've been curious. The rear brake cylinder on mine has this "b" logo cast on it's side- Brembo. I'd always thought Yamaha had used only Sumitomo front and rear. Anybody know the story as to why the factory,at least on my '05, went to the the Italians for parts? Who made the ABS then?

Thanks for all your input. The bike has only 6k on the clock so the head bearings are fine, the bars turn smoothly when off the ground. Bought another decent tire gauge---- the tire was really at 28lbs!! It's at 38-40 now. What a difference. Thebike still wants to fall into turns but to a lot...

Newish rubber- 2000miles. 36 lbs inflation. That's what bugs me. Everything seems normal.
