I know this is a basic question but I have a good reason for asking it. Does the headlight on the 2006 FJR1300A come on when the key is turned to start before the engine is started or does the headlight come on only after the engine is started?

Every riding course I have ever taken and every riding book I have ever read recommend riding with brights on during the day for visibility and safety. I always ride with my brights on during the day and apply as needed in the night (I live deep in the country, no street lights.).

I would definately go for the Goldwing.
