Welcome from a St Anthony Village MN rider. I think you'll find the FJR to be pretty bomb proof. Follow Rodger's advice, but even if you wait a while, the FJR will run perfectly. It's a great machine designed to produce numerous smiles over the miles. Enjoy it and ride as often as you can.

FYI, Fender amps go to 11. The Fender Tweed Blues Junior amp goes to 12 for all settings. Is it louder? Of course not, but some some fools will believe it's louder.  I really like my 5 speed FJR. I've ridden the 6 speed model, but don't see enough difference to upgrade from my 2014 ES.
