    2005 FJR1300 For Sale

Price dropped to $6,000 here and at ADV. Rather make a deal here than sell it on eBay. Make me an offer. Email: RanchoBob at gmail.

    2005 FJR1300 For Sale

I put thousands of miles on the Electrosport with it driving the HIDs, PHIDS, grip heaters and my jacket liner. Dunno, but no issues for me. FWIW, I am including the OEM stator as well.

    2005 FJR1300 For Sale

Yeah, you're right, I should strip off the farkles but I'm just not ready to do that. I figure someone will come along who wants a turnkey bike and I'm not stuck on six grand. I just kinda looked at Cycle Trader to see where things were and put it there. Hope springs eternal. Oh. It's got...

    2005 FJR1300 For Sale

Hate to sell, but I've put a R1200GSA in the garage and the FJR just doesn't get ridden enough anymore to justify keeping her. I'm starting with an ad here before I go to the world because I got so much help from this forum. Not giving her away, but don't feel like I'm being outrageous in my...

Boiling Gasoline in Gen I (05)

Heh. Definitely not. Most of the time I prefer to ride/drive my vehicles into the ground. That said, my wife has told me that if I sell my old M3 ragtop (which can't pass smog without spending more on it than it's worth), my XR600R (plated) and her Ninja 250 I can add a BMW 1200 GS Adventure...

Boiling Gasoline in Gen I (05)

Interesting. Does my theory hold up? Is the Gen 2 cooler than Gen 1? If so, what would be involved in a retrofit? Pump, fuel pipe, injectors....

Boiling Gasoline in Gen I (05)

Strange. I'm used to my groin getting cooked by a hot tank, but never considered surgery. ("Ballectomy." Ouch. I thought the vasectomy was unpleasant enough.as an option.) *head scratch* I'm convinced part of the problem is that fuel is pumped from the fuel tank to the injectors and back into...

    Pre-road trip checklist?

The oil has quite a few miles on it. Might as well change it now, eh? Suggestions on where I can get a new glove box for the bike? The lid got ripped off quite a while ago and I might as well put it back in. Kinda handy on occasion. Thanks!

    Pre-road trip checklist?

Yeah, I'm a bit behind on some maintenance, but the only thing I really must do is change the engine and fork oil. Thanks!

    Pre-road trip checklist?

I'm going to be taking the FJR on a longish (1,100 mile) road trip and was thinking I should go through her from stem to stern and make sure all is well before I hit the road. Suggestions as to what I should check in particular or any links to lists? Haven't had much luck with my Google Fu...

    Russell seat Velour vs Leather.

Leather is slick and I'd go a different direction if I had it to do again. I'd give velour a shot before I went with vinyl, though. Of course, if you get velour you should probably consider painting your bike avocado or harvest gold. :D Rancho
