I’ve been riding my fjr since 2004. I have had 2 bikes in my stable since then. I always ride the FJR on the long trips. It’s stable mates have been standards such as sv650 but currently a Ducati 899. Weekend trips are commuting were on the smaller bikes.

I did a pork shoulder butt May 5th. It was an 8.5 pound butt and my smoker was a master built propane. Temp was 225 to 230 for the whole smoke. It took 25 hours for the butt to reach 196 degrees. 2.5 hours per pound is what I calculate on a pork shoulder to reach tender temperature. Sometimes...

At 50k I had problems with rectifier and key switch. Went to MOSFET rectifier, and new ignition switch. I put a relay in that others did on the Gen II and I have been solid since. I put in a datel voltmeter to monitor when I started having problem.
