    Yuasa battery - Alternative.

Well my lucky day! Today I searched Ebay for the Yuasa one and it turns up one for sale $101.99 with free shipping from Powersportplace store in OH. That compares to all others offering at $153, it's quite a big saving. Here is the link to Ebay if you want to jump the fence right...

    Yuasa battery - Alternative.

It's been around 6 years since I replaced my Yuasa battery and now it gives me some signal that it could be near end of life. So I googled Yuasa YT14B-BS and links are turned up with price $153. It was around $85 in 2012 so it is quite a jump (~50%). Is this a result of Trump's tariff war...

I recently bought some items on Walmart provided by their contractors and so far so good. Anyway, I'll check out those LED Rider Ignacio. Thanks for the pointer.

AE shift light on and disappeared!

Ah I read up your post and realized I had a similar amber light on as on your picture! So it's ABS thing and brake related. I'll check out the brake light and probably just lubricate the brake levers Thanks for the suggestion Mcatrophy! Mine has more than 62k miles now and it should get some...

AE shift light on and disappeared!

Last weekend I was on a long distance trip to Zion and my AE shift warning light was on in the middle of freeway riding at about 80 mph. The light was on for about few minutes and disappeared. Half hour later I pulled over to a gas station to check out if anything wrong. Shift rod and bracket...

dct. vs AE Is it worth the new technolgy.

A week ago I was helping a friend who bought a used 2007 A for a ride home. Man that standard clutch was hard on my hand! At stop lights, it took considerable tension on my fingers to hold the clutch on the 1st gear. After about 80 miles home, I felt sore on that left hand. I now appreciate much...

Sport Touring on a ZX1400R ABS

Try its later sibling GSX-S1000! It's 465 lbs wet, 145 HP, close to 80 lbs-ft torque. It's definitely a sport bike in disguise.

Do it yourself Bike Lift Project that Video

Very clever! His video is even better with right to the point shots. Though the height of the lift is not ideal but sufficient enough to work on the bike, saving more backache.

Gen II and III centerstand interchangeable?

yea, that is the same charts I've looked at but without the dimension it's hard to know they're the same. in regard to height. If gen III ride height is higher, it's definitely easier to get on the stand. As RaYzerman points out, going 190 might help.

Gen II and III centerstand interchangeable?

Has anyone tried to fit gen III centerstand to gen II bike? I've looked at the diagram of both model and they look almost identical except for the pedal type on gen III. The diagrams however don't indicate any dimensions so it's hard to say about the fitment. Pulling my bike on its centersand is...

California Lane Splitting Guidelines Now Being Developed--UPDATED 5/18

Thanks Mike for the update. I welcome the removal of the speed limit or any notion of speed there. After all, automobile safely technology keeps improving and leaving a speed limit in the law could someday be outdated. CHP guidelines work out better so far since they have experience on their own...

    Home improvement

Wise investment! Ohlins shock is one of the best! I have one on my suzuki Bandit 1250 and it completely brings the bike to a new level of performance. Once you dial into the sweet spot of pre-load adjustment, the rebound and compression clicks are easy to do.
