    WTB: Right saddlebag first generation

Just a little bump... Been a while since I was on this forum, and I'm still looking! The hole has been covered with some Scotch Super 33+ electrical tape since this happened, and luckily I haven't gotten caught in any major storms since! Anyone have a rashed RIGHT bag or one that they replaced...

    Problems with Pilot Road 2's?

I haven't read through all the threads on the PR 2s, and so I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, or if I'm being snowed, but I just got off the phone with Dennis Kirk because I was getting ready to pricematch and order a set of PR 2s and I found three part numbers for the rear...

    WTB - '05 Rt. Saddlebag

I'm looking for the inside part of the saddlebag, since mine got a hole blasted in it from some road debris. Let me know if you are thinking of getting rid of yours if you win that auction. I have some ABS and am going to try a repair on mine and see how that works out, but I may be interested...

    WTB: Right saddlebag first generation

I'll keep an eye out for one! And let me know if you find one, and we can figure it out.

    WTB: Right saddlebag first generation

Set it to watch, although it's brand new, so it's likely to get a little spendy. Thanks! Still open to anyone's rashed bags as long as the mounting tabs are intact. :) Does anyone know if the mounting side of the saddlebag is the same for 1st and second gen FJRs?

    WTB: Right saddlebag first generation

I'm assuming all the saddlebags fit the same from the first gen bikes, and possibly even the second gen bikes, but most likely just different color covers. All I need is the inner part of the bag itself, and not the cover. Here's my situation: I was riding home the other day and something...

I need a new front wheel for my 2006 fjr

Check THIS post in the other thread you started. Much cheaper than Frame Straight Systems, and he does an amazing job. Runout better than stock spec. He fixed my R6 wheel a couple years ago, and I know many motorcycle racers that have sent wheels to him and used them on the track after being...

Anyone have a wheel to rent

I don't have a solution for you for this weekend, but Will's Rim Repair fixed a wheel on my R6 before I had the FJR, and did an AMAZING job for cheap! Might want to look into that for an alternative to buying a new one. https://www.willsrimrepair.com

    Slight Head Shake

That's what it sounds like to me, especially if it's always been there. Probably wasn't torqued right initially at the dealer when the bike was set up.

Michelin Pilot Road vs. Avod Storm-ST vs. Pilot Road2's

That recall was only for Pilot Powers and Pilot Power 2CT tires. The Pilot Road2 wasn't included in the recall. Bad manufacturing allowed for a possibility of tread separation was the reason behind the recall. I am really excited for Pilot Road2 to be released here... I think I better speak...

    Warm weather gear

Thanks for all the input guys! I did forget to ask, even though some of you included it anyway, where did you get your gear, and how much did you pay? I'm leaning toward the Cortech and have been reading up on evap vests in another thread, and that seems like a good combo for really hot...

MN FJR get Together, July 13th '07 - Eagan, MN

Bummer. Prior engagement that weekend precludes my attendance. Guess I'll have to meet you guys another time soon... :(

    Warm weather gear

Thanks guys, this is just the type of stuff I'm looking for. The most important part to me is being cool, but still feeling close to as safe as I feel wearing my Speedmaster jacket with GP armor in it, in case I have to go riding on that ever so uncomfortable slip and bleed... IAGeezer, does...
