Schubert C3 Pro - XL Silver

I bought an extra large and should not have. It felt good so I kept it. Had a C3 size large before and felt it was kind of too snug, but I have seen the the error in my ways. This one sits too low and I can't turn my head without bumping into my shoulders. I have no neck is part of the problem...

    Helmet in Saddle bag?

I just got a Schuberth C3 Pro XL. Didn't give a thought when I bought it. It fits, barely. One has to orient it just so to clip it in with the straps, but it works. It's a learning curve to position it just right.

6 gear slipper tranny "2016" in old 5 gears engines?

Gee Whiz, lighten up! I did a search on slipper. I see the question, didn't see an answer, but I promise to now cease and desist. Certainly don't intend to degrade the forum. My apologies.

6 gear slipper tranny "2016" in old 5 gears engines?

My thread got shut down by admin, and I was linked to this discussion. Every one's discussing a whole tranny swap. Could one install just a slipper clutch to replace the existing one in an '07 do you think? I was just trying to accomplish a lighter clutch lever action, if it's practical.

    Slipper Clutch in an 07?

I may be showing off my mechanical ignorance, so I figured Friday to be the good day to ask this question. Since the the Gen 2 motor is mostly the same motor as a Gen 3, does anyone know, or have an opinion if one could swap the existing clutch with a new slipper clutch like a 2016 has? I'm...

Thanks all. It has gone to Randy.

    07 oem saddle

I have a stock seat from my 07 front and back, like new, for no charge if anyone needs one. Perhaps just for the pan to use for a custom saddle. I bought a Corbin, which came with one, and I bought a Sargent saddle years ago. It also came with it's own pan so I really don't have any need for my...

    Cigars

La Perla Habana is a good cigar for about 50 bucks a box from Cigars International. Started out as a boutique cigar, so to speak, from the cigar boom years ago. Stayed around due to popular demand. There's about 4 kinds. Black Pearl Rojo is my favorite. If your willing to spend some more money...

    Power Sport tire Inflator?

Glad to see this come up as I just got a slime pump also after puncturing two rear tires within a week. I emailed slime to ask what the current draw is and got shined on. I, too, see where they caution one not to run the motor, which brings the question of current draw back up. Will the...

    From cruiser to sport tourer

When I got back into riding after a 25 year hiatus, I thought I was going to be a "weekend warrior" type. This was in 2000 and the Harley dealers were robbing their custmers at the time, because they could. Since I couldn't even get the Harley salesman to give me the time of day, I bought a BMW...

    Padora App while riding

I've never had a battery issue with Pandora and Iphone 3GS no matter how long my ride. I have plenty of battery after 4 hours, so I could keep going. I do, however, throw it on the charger ever night. Incidentally, Etymotic ER6i ear buds give really good sound quality, good bass response, double...

    Cheapy stick-on lane change mirrors

From this thread I bought the Maxview "motorcycle" mirrors (how they're different from their other sets, I've no clue). Stuck 'em on the lower inside corner of my mirror where all I see is my glove and some of my arm anyway. Works perfect. After some tweaking, just as I start to lose view of...

Squirrely, or slippery, handling in twisties?

I'm with Slappy. My '07 sort of "wallowed" in sweeping turns. Front braking set up a little "chatter" in the steering head, or so it felt like, anyway. Also, once my Bridgestones started to cup, the front tire would sometimes feel like it wanted to slip, and other times felt a little grabby...

2007 FJR - Front Breaks "Chatter" During Hard Stops

Had exactly the same thing with my '07 until I read a thread, can't remember who's thread it was now, reccomending tighter suspension settings front and back. He mentioned that, among other things it cured the brake chatter in his FJR. I tried his suggested settings and whattaya know!! Cured...
