    2007 FJR for sale

This is a single owner FJR1300A. I have maintained it myself and had all applicable recalls taken care of by Big Number 1 in Homewood. It has right at 30K miles on the odometer. It has a throttle lock and a Givi trunk and rack. The trunk is painted to match the bike. I also installed drop...

    New Givi E52

I order an E52 a few weeks ago along w/ the sr357 rack, and e97 light kit. It all arrived at the dealer about two weeks ago. I immediately shipped the trunk to Garauld to paint it. While he had the trunk I installed the rack and the wiring for the bottom half of the light kit which ties into the...

    first ride of 2009

I've only ridden it three times in the last two months... No chance to get it dirty. I would say that the weather has been terrible, but then someone would probably make fun of me.

    first ride of 2009

So, I rode to work today, first ride of 2009, wooohooo... and to Barbers for a Cisco partner event. FYI Grant's Mill road and the back road to Barbers are in terrible shape. The road Barber's is on is being resurfaced and Grant's Mill has several more large pot holes than I remember...

    07, 17K miles, 3K RPM Surging...

I'm still riding around with it disconnected, but have come to the conclusion that nothing is "wrong" and I'll have to buy a PC3 to get it where I want it. Just haven't gotten around to that yet.

It's going to be hard to get under that weight for $700 in a full suspension

    Attn Mt Bikers

I decided I didn't want to get beat to death so I went full suspension. I normally ride the 17 mile loop at Oak Mountain which has some fun downhill sections. Nothing treacherous though.

I dropped 20lbs from the weight of my bike....

I'm down 60 lbs since January. I am 5'11", and I started at 263 and I'm down around 202 right now. I've cranked up my mountain biking intensity and started running. When I started I could only run for a minute or two at a time on a treadmill. Now I'm running 4 miles at a stretch. Saturday(Oct...

    Attn Mountain Bike riders

looks like a good bike for the money to me. the front and rear suspension is nice, the shimano xt gear is great, the brakes are nice too. the weakest component looks like the crankset, and that's only by comparison to the other gear on the bike, it's a fine crankset in its own right...

    07, 17K miles, 3K RPM Surging...

I was coming back from Decatur yesterday and stopped by D&H. Nick(i think) and Gerauld looked at it for about 20 minutes. The only thing that they can come up with is that the oxygen sensor is bad but not throwing a code. So tomorrow night, I'm going to disconnect it and see how it runs without...

    Good Tequila

Herradura Silver... mmmmm.... A little place in Birmingham called Sole Luna makes the best Perfecte margarita with this stuff. All fresh squeezed fruit juice in the mix, no pre-mixed crap.

 nice As much as I can sometimes be mechanically retarded, it has plenty of oil and this has persisted across multiple oil changes. Also the bike has never used a drop of oil as far as I can tell between oil changes.

    07, 17K miles, 3K RPM Surging...

Update on this issue: I replaced spark plugs and air filter, checked for vaccuum leaks(w/ starter fluid), and ran a bottle of fuel injector cleaner through it. I've ran two more tanks of super through it since then. I think I can narrow it down to hot and humid days making it run worse. It...
