When living in Maine I rarely got to use 5th gear on my 2014. So I never considered the need for a 6th. Now that I am living in Wyoming, we will see. Somehow I don't see me getting a newer bike. 

My wife and I are moving there to get away from crowds. I am looking forward to riding the back roads. Most of the riding around here in Maine I rarly get past 3rd gear.As for when we can't ride, we have 2 4wd trucks for exploring the back country, a 5th wheel for longer exploring, and the town...

Have the 50l Shad top case and both the wife's and my helmet fit in it. Both shoeis, hers is a Neotec.

If you are doing math- Then Gen I+ Gen II= Gen III Which we all KNOW is the best.

There are some really nice places to ride just north in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. It is not like out west where the states are large. Here you can ride all 3 of them easily as day trips from Groton. From where I live in Maine it is about 2 hours to Boston and about 2 hours across NH...
