I've had a Laam and a RDL on my 2016. The RDL has a sweet spot that is "perfect". The Laam is slightly better if you don't stay in one spot. If you move around in a La-Z-Boy, get the Laam. If you don't, get the RDL. If you were in San Antonio, I'd let you borrow my RDL for a day or two.

I'll sell you my 2005 with < 130K with lots of farkles for $1500. I'm not the first owner. I got it with 72K from a Milwaukee area dealer in 2014 when I lived in Columbus, Ohio. Previous owner had put on an RDL; heated grips (I've been told they are the kind dealers put on back in the day)...

Some people get out their angle grinder and swap to Gold Wing foot pegs. I don't know, but there is a possibility that the Tenere parts will fit. I don't have both bikes to check with...
