    EOM '11

As much as I hate to say it, looks like I will have to miss the first EOM Camp Gathering. Started a new job and will be in training at the time of EOM this year. This will be the first EOM missed for me since 05, really bummed at that. Hope you guys and gals have a great time and ride safe...

    Dealer/Mechanic Recommendation

I have used an independent located in FW, Wildcard Custom, 817-831-9700, Owner- Jaxon Fiffe. He has a FJR and as well he builds custom bikes. I recommend his work and you can trust that what he says he did, he did, but not cheap. Good luck. Mark

    Side bag removal

Don't forget to locktite the screws in the locking mechinism on each bag. Should be a thread here somewhere. You will need the safety bit to remove the screws. If you do not do this, you will loose a bag lock. Enjoy your new ride. Mark

    The Official SFO Rally 2011

Like GPRIDER said, we both made it back to the Dallas area safe and dry. The trip up on Friday wasn't as dry, when I passed through Little Rock, the bottom fell out and it poured. I only had to run in the heavy stuff for about an hour, after that, the weekend was rain free. Saturday morning...

    The Official SFO Rally 2011

I understand that the weather looks questionable, but what are we to do. The weather will not change any of my plans. FYI, when setting up this gathering, I had to commit to 30 people for dinner Saturday night. So, if it helps make your decision, I will be out of pocket for about $750 for our...

    The Official SFO Rally 2011

I need a volunteer. I do not have any GPS or Maping Software and would like to ask someone to put together a few of these routes to make available to the other riders. I have to believe there are some already out there and may just need to be posted up. It would be nice if we could get both...

    The Official SFO Rally 2011

We were hoping Scott and Mark (Glory Racing)would be organizing another Twisty Butt Ride this year, but it looks like there may be scheduling conflicts. I know everybody had a great time last year. Mark

    The Official SFO Rally 2011

The hotel has a very large (30 pages) menu. I am working on how exactly to refine the menu and serving process. Regardless, I will make sure there are options for the vegetarians in our group. More to follow. Mark

    The Official SFO Rally 2011

Hey Welldunn, hope you can make it over. Our block of rooms is held till the 24th of this month, after that they are fair game to the public. This is a pretty large hotel and I dont think there will be a problem getting a room at the last minute. Generally, people will split up into groups...

    The Official SFO Rally 2011

I realize we may have to put up with a little heat, but after getting dumped on the last two years, I thought it better to tempt the heat instead of the rain. Mark
