D2 and I made it to Dundee MI, after leaving out of VA; 456 miles. 259 home today and got in around 3:30. We had 1950 miles for the trip (6 days), which was a great time. Thanks to all who made us feel welcome, and glad to meet a bunch of y'all.

Cool, I hung out with my cousin ( ham operator on a corner ) way back in the day for a rally in the UP. T'was at night. It was awesome watching them rip through the woods at scary speeds in the middle of the night. I'll try and keep that date in mind, so i can go down and take a look.

I got as far down as Grand Rapids, to pick up D2, but the it was cold, rainy, and looked way worse heading south. Sorry to miss it. Hopefully I'll get to meet up with y'all soon.

Nice, looking at the Acadia now, very nice. I was in NH as a youngster, climbed Mt Adams. I forget how grand that area is. I'm thinking to add those areas on the plan, maybe Albany, then up through Green Mtn area, then through White Mtn area, then over into ME. We'll be missing lower ME...

Very nice. Give a shout when you're heading through, as i'm up in the north land of the mitt. If you've never been, the M119 tunnel of trees is a must ride. I work about 10 minutes from there, so I am on there quite often through the summer...

There's an Atlanta MI as well, though not much to speak of. On M33, heading north in the Mitt. There's a chance of seeing an elk or two, but not a very good one.

I'm in, just booked the room yesterday. Daughter #1 and I are greatly looking forward to this. Will prob be traveling down to troy mi on wed night, then heading to VA on thursday AM. Just in case there's any MI / Northern attendees that may be traveling along the same route at the same time.

Ack, this is torture. Such a spiffy ride and too cold to get out. Gearing up and farkling only keeps the weeping at bay so much.

Yikes, it's awful chilly in early April in northern MI. I'm gonna loosely plan to get to this, so i guess I'll say a solid maybe.
