Hi folks, I've been a member of this forum since the early days. Even going back to the first FJR Forum in 2004. Not so much in recent years. My riding time has dwindled, and two years ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Now after 20 years and three FJR's it is with heavy heart...

As has been said....have a fantastic trip. Oh, and thank you for the perspective wake up call. I needed it brother. Just ride the heck out of that fine looking motorcycle.

Concur with the comment "you'll love the bike" I've had an 04 and also an 06, which I recently traded in on a 2014. The difference is absolutely remarkable. The bike has become so smooth and refined, and yet just doing everything so much better than ever before. I just can't say enough about...

I looked, but could not find the specific answer. I have the RG Sliders on my 06 and was wondering if they would fit on the 2014 which I hope to pull the trigger on in a month or two. It would be nice to be able to just transfer these over instead of having to spring for a new set. Thanks guys

Congratulations. Color is a personal preference, but for me that red with black accents is the best to date. Enjoy it.
