Had my 08 2 years now, just put on 1400 miles over the weekend, sure my arse gets tired after 400 Mi day, but not worth 600.00+ to change my seat. Better spent on beers after the ride! Oh, 5-10, 240 lbs. Ride on!

Great job! If it wasn't for the different tires, I would think that was my 08 and I can't tell that you've modified the seat at all! :clapping:

1 - Vista Cruise, by far the best piece of plastic I own! 2 - Stebel horn, mounted inconspicuously, of course! 3 - Pro Motion frame sliders, which I plan not to use! 4 - Pillion back rest - can't sit back there any way!

I have seen some other locations on the FJR for mounting a Steble horn. Thought I would post a pic of mine. Made the bracket at work from SS. Sorry about the size of the pics, first pics I have posted. Will get better as I go! Promise!

I'm sorry to hear this! I have few farkles and even fewer complaints about my 08. I love this bike and although it seems there are endless "things" one can do to make it different, it doesn't really need it! I agree with others - JUST RIDE! :yahoo:
