Totally agree. There are so many people that know tons about oil changes and when to do them, etc. etc. etc. ... and I'm sure they all designed engines for a living for Yamaha or some other big six motorcycle manufacturer ... not. Changing at 600 is fine ... hell, changing even later is fine...

I was out on the new FJR, too, this weekend ... but on the opposite side of the Hudson. We rode up from NYC, through Harriman, over to Warwick, then close to PJ, and south to Stokes Forest. It started raining as we got close to Sunrise Mountain ... then stopped and got sunny again. Typical...

When is the Killington Classic? I'd no idea it was FJR-FRIENDLY.

My dealer called me and gave me a delivery date of April 12 ... I put my money down on October 4 and the dealer (slow a$$ that he is) put it in the YDS on October 19 (yeah, way way late, whatever). Nick in NYC

Arriving early April? What date did you get your order entered into the YDS? Mine was October 19 (two weeks after I paid my $500 ... crappy dealer). I'm hoping to get it in April. That would be fine. Have to sell my current machine before the FJR arrives ... Wow, really looking forward to...
