New York and Kentucky look like they are at hotels. Maybe they turned their trackers off? The Harrisburg, PA, rider has about 180 miles to go. Looks like that rider will be time barred as well....unless the feed we see is innacurate.

I believe Leg 3 bonus lists will be handed out at the 4:00 a.m. riders' meeting on 25 June, forcing them to get at least some rest after being scored for Leg 2.

Sure hope it's the former for AZ bike. Amarillo and Kearney are certainly the ones to watch now. Getting exciting!!

HOMER is near Burwash Landing, 3745 miles out. That translates to an avg. mph of approx. 65 mph to make it home.....not looking too hopeful to me. GO, HOMER, GO! Ride safely.

Thanks for the post, Iggy.....out of likes for today. Sure hope the riders keep their eyes on the road and not on the fireball.

I have no idea (nor do I need to know) the identity of the rider near Homer, AK, this morning, but I can say with certainty I'm gonna be following him/her for the rest of the rally. GO, HOMER, GO. Ride safely!

Just left the parking lot. All riders in. Last rider checked in at about 2050. Except, of course, for those riders who have phoned in that they will not make it by 2200. Sleep tight, riders!

We're only 4.5 hours out this morning, and I'm jittery.........all I have to do is get some breakfast in 3 kids and drive a few hours. Can't imagine what the outlier ralliers are feeling, Kitty! We hope to raise spirits at the checkpoint, though. That is our mission, and we gladly accept it...

    2017 Iron Butt Rally

Check in time for me. Getting excited about IBR 2017 and the best place for coverage........right here! Gonna be at both Allen, TX, checkpoints with my grand kids. Some may remember them at Kingsport in 2015. They are 11, 10 and 6 now and have been giddy about this trip for two years now...
