    Improved Handling?

Hey Cadman, I must confess I am very impressed with your lengthy discourse on such a serious technical issue. Your wonderful command of the English language is astonishing, bravo sir bravo! I'll be sure to send you a PM the next time I need help and not bother these other nice folks. Obviously...

    Improved Handling?

I really surprised at some of these responses, I guess some of you are more interested in being wise guys then sharing good information. By the way the Kouba links are only good for shorter people so they can have better footing, they have no impact on handling! Also lowering the bike has no...

    Improved Handling?

I have 2006 FJR, I love the bike in many ways but I have never felt totally comfortable in tight and/or slow speed turns. The bike has allways seemed very top heavy. I did find some improvement when I switched to a Corbin seat, that lowered my position about 1". I think if I was able to lower...

    FJR corbin seat

I guess the choice of seats is a very personal issue. I have had a Corbin on my 06 since I got the bike and have been very happy with the fit and finish. Mine gave me a lower position that felt much better and my wife has been happy with hers as well including the backrest. I also use a Alaska...

    Stinking high gas $$$$

I'm ready for that day! Too bad us Americans are so damn independent and so many of us believe we can't make a difference. It's a shame because we could if we would!!!

    Thai Rules for the Road

Hi all, this is something that I got from one of my bicycle clubs emails. We would all be dead if these were the rules in the US. Thai Rules for the Road By John Campbell I have been amazed and also angry many times with the habits of Thai drivers. I can only say that, when you use US...

    Tennessee FJR Riders Group

Hey it's really great to hear from you all, I felt sure there was a good group of riders out there. Here's something you all might consider, WERA is having a Roadracing event at the Nashville Superspeedway on April 26 & 27, the racing starts at noon each day and the track opens at 7am. This...

    Tennessee FJR Riders Group

I think it's time that Tennessee is properly represented and I'm a little tired of Shokdimn and I riding as a gang of two. Lets get together and enjoy the hills of this beautiful state. Shokdim and I ride a lot on Saturdays and Sundays. We try to make the day of it meeting around 8 or 9 am and...

    WIndshield for 5'10" rider

This is a very individual thing to work out. I'm 6' tall and find the stock windshield on my 06 to be just right. I have a friend that's 5'10 or 11 and he feels he needs something much larger. I think the aero design of your helmet makes a big differance. Beyond that how much of a vacum or still...

    Headlight Upgrade

I'm looking for ideas to improve the headlights on my 2006 FJR. Since all the components are plastic I know we can't create a lot more heat by installing lamps with too much power. So if anyone out there has found something that's working well without causing problems I would love to hear from you.
