    04-05 Corbin Close Saddle

I've got a Corbin close. PM me if you still need one. Tim

    WTB Corbin Close or Sargent

Dave makes a good point, but it depends on how often you take day-long rides At 5'6" with a 29" inseam, it works well for me re: touching down with both feet. Mine has the blue piping and a couple of small tears in the leather, but a local upholstery shop should be able to replace the piping...

    Pre-'06 Air Wings Announcement

I'd be interested, too. Had some on a BMW K-bike a while back, lots of heat comes off the "flying brick". Tim

WTB or trade: stock cans for '05 FJR

Looking for a set of stock or aftermarket cans that would be quieter than the de-baffled stock cans on my '05 FJR. Don't know who did the work, or whether is was a kit. (I bought the bike used). At lower rpm's they aren't obnoxiously loud, but enough to let cages know you're around. Pic's...

    FJR flick

Looks like they spent some effort on air flow for the rider. An adjustable middle fairing and the windshield is closer to the rider. Relocated (lower ?) passenger pegs. Seems there is a lot to like. Tim

    Givi windshield

How much will you want for it ? My target was to find one for around $40-50 + shipping, but since this one was barely out of the carton ...

    Givi windshield

Looking for a 'winter' shield ... had a Givi on '04 and it worked pretty well. Trying to save a little $$$ this close to Christmas & holidays. Tim

    Advice Wanted

Jill, The advice to consider the VFR or 600's is pretty good. They are lighter and easier to handle, not to mention that most are *very quick*. The FJR is a relatively heavy and tall bike. However, if want the touring features (i.e. bags, electric windshield etc.) the FJR excels in the...

    Insurance Quote

I was with Progressive for several years (no accidents, no claims). When I added the '05 FJR, I was quoted >$2000.00 per year. I ended up with Dairyland coming in a little over $500.00, but several other companies beat Progressive's rates.

    H-life Top Case / Trunk

I was curious about those cases, too. I sent an inquiry and *never* received a response. Regardless of feedback score, they won't be getting any of my $$$.

    Remote Controlled Am Fm Radio

Given your parameters, you might try a BMW (motorcycle) radio. They have a remote control for volume, station seek, etc. They are typically mounted in the fairing with a lockable access door. They use a standard automotive style antenna plug. You will probably end up making your own wiring...

    Radio In FJR?

Some manufacturers make accomodations on their sport-tourers for a radio, but I don't know where you'd mount one on the FJR. Speaking from my experience owning a BMW sport-tourer with a radio, they are pretty much worthless at Interstate speeds, especially while wearing a 3/4 or full-face...
