Took a test ride on '17 ES today

Not me. My only experience with GN Gonzales was years ago in the sales department, and it consisted of the sales guy trying to sell me a two model year old bike at MSRP.

Took a test ride on '17 ES today

Could be nice, but can't stomach honda's pricing policy on the wing, and looking to downsize when my wife no longer wants to ride.

Took a test ride on '17 ES today

Friendly Yamaha in Baton Rouge (and yes, they are quite friendly) has the Yamaha demo truck there today and tomorrow. Road my N1K 75 miles to test ride the '17 ES. Escorted group ride in suburban setting, so couldn't really get a complete feel for the bike. Top speed we hit was an...

Nice. How much did it cost you to repaint the car to match the bike?

    The 2014 FJR1300 - Woo-hoo!

Uhhh, when you are talking about light, black is the absence of all color. When you are talking about pigments, black is the combination of all colors. Big difference.

New 2013 FJR - $12,590 - Chaparral Motorsports in SoCal

When I shop for cars or bikes, I am usually asked "how much do you want your monthly note to be?" I usually respond, with a straight face, "I'd like my monthly note to be about $25 or less." I've had salesmen walk away from me after I said that.

When do you consider it to be to hot to ride?

I generally don't care so much what the temperature is --- it's the humidity that usually gets me to park the bike. If the temperature is in the upper 80s or higher and the humidity is in the upper 80s or higher.... I park it.

Why are you selling it? Problem with the bike (ergonomics, too much heat, etc.) or not bike related (don't need details)?

    Help, Outlook update

Yeah, just say "no" to cloud storage -- at least for anything sensitive or vital. OpenOffice was last updated over a year ago. Latest LibreOffice update was yesterday. I don't believe LibreOffice has a contacts/e-mail/calendaring module similar to Outlook.

Here is my dilemma - motorcycle idiot

I've gone this route - reported it to the cops, and they paid the guy a visit. They can't cite him, but it sure does rattle the guy's cage pretty good.

Marc Marquez! Calm the F*@$ down!

I don't race, so I don't have the perspective of some of the others here (or Schwantz), but the pass seemed legit to me. Maybe being an observer is easier than being in the heat of battle, but I certainly expected a pass with a high likelihood of contact. I'd expect Lorenzo should have...
