    Yamaha customer satisfaction surveys

Hmmm, echoes of my own dad. Achem, ah, point well taken. :blush2: I promise to do my best to do my duty... Thanks Ashe

    Yamaha customer satisfaction surveys

I basically live out in the middle of nowhere. I would rather take my bike to D&H and camp out or fly home until it was fixed than take it to a dealer I cannot trust. You never know about things such as vengeance or vindictiveness. Being out on the road in the middle of nowhere and have my...

    We Lost A Great Friend

I am so sorry. I never had the chance to meet the man but I have spend endless hours enjoying his contributions of wit humor wisdom and knowledge to this forum. For that I am indebted to him. I wish his family well and extend my deepest sympathies to them and his friends. So sad. I'm so sorry.

    Yamaha customer satisfaction surveys

The best survey there is is cash. I never ever fill out surveys, questionaires, clubmemberships, opinionations, Winn Dixie Card applications. This only provides data to a database that can be hacked, used as evidence, sent to correct performance (in turn used for revenge), tracking data, etc...

Horrible accident during our ride today

Sounds to me like you two had understanding while the rest of the crowd was performing to calliope music. Always a potentially deadly situation. Good job!

fjr ignition key cover for moisture/rain control

Annh, I just use a wad of gum. That way when I get back on the bike I can pick up where I left off. NOTE: not too good for extended storage though. NOTE2: Use long lasting flavor gums for this otherwise you might as well use a piece of inner tube.

I never suspected anything was going on...

Obviously you live a sheltered life. It is much worse than you think and as usual you are the last to know.

That is genetically impossible! Kind o like chimpanzees mating with sloths. Might want to get that DNA checked. I suspect an affair.

Would you use this for you FJR???

I would never use any towing method that reverse loads the drivetrain. This goes for bikes, cars, trucks anything. The reason is that such a towing method causes the gears to be loaded on the opposite faces as would normally be used for driving forward. Over time (miles) this will...

I love Rush. I think Neil would be pleased. You've done a fine job and entertained me. I watched all of the ones you have out there. Not a bad one in the bunch. Thanks for sharing! BR

    Road Star Warrior

I knew a guy who just loved road stars. He would toss a handful onto the pavement for a tailgating cage to collect. It's a road version of jacks. Of course the soccer mom in the minivan four cars back had no clue. I think it was the feeling of immediate gratification that prevented a more...

Passing other vehicles on two lane roads

I find this thread somewhat amusing, in that before the 55 mph national speed limit; the emasculation of the automobile and the dependence on multi-lane interstate/secondary roads, passing on a two lane road (where the speed limit was 70 by the way) was a required skill. It is rapidly becoming a...

    O.k. you 08 owners...

Rumor? Hmm, so much more valuable. Look dude, just wash your bike with a good ol' carwash and chamois it off. A time honored tradition. It's black man. Comes with the territory. Keep cool here and you won't have to deal with the noise. Use wisdom here and you won't go wrong. Listen to the...
