Not sure why anyone would use Touring mode, even in the rain. These bike are smooth and very tractable in the Sport setting.

No I have not had a recurrence. Mine was within the first 100 miles I put on the bike.

Here is the camera mounted. The Garmin is really simple to operate. The slide switch you see turns it on, and starts recording. It has a quick release to remove it when you are away from the bike. The only feature it lacks is WiFi, however it does have a small display.

I mounted the Garmin VIRB on top of the TREX slider on my '16 A model. The content is not much, but the perspective is kinda cool.

You know the latching system does look similar. I doubt they would make them the same though as then someone might use the old mount with the new trunk.
