Thanks Al. It was not an easy decision to replace the FJR, particularly the AE. If they offered the AE with the Gen III features, I would be getting one, but I went for the K1600GT.

No question, bikes are very personal. I love the FJR particularly the AE but now I have a K1600GT and think it is fantastic. A 'rational' decision? No, for sure.

It took me a few hundred miles to shift smootly... I think is a great feature and will be hard to miss.

Go for the single key and carry two if you want to warm it up... but it is very convenient to have a single key working on all locks and ignition...

I think this is the best option. Looks clean and 'elegant'.

Forgot to mention, bike has ABS
