Wouldn't THAT be interesting! But no, 99.999% sure the other interpretation is correct. There are "arrival points" each leg. It was stated somewhere that it was 20 pts a minute. Maybe Harrison's daily report.

All in now - all who are still in it anyway. According to local sources

Reliable, local intel says only 1 rider left out there!

I think the ones in WI are fine. I mean, before being time barred. Well, the one hasn't moved in a while, so not sure if he's not pinging, or is stuck, or what that bike is up to at the moment. But the 2 that are moving, look fine. At the moment, there is traffic on what google maps in...

Isn't that Wendy with the zombie lady on her dash? Tyler Risk posted a pic on FB EDIT confirmation from Tyler - that IS Wendy! YES!!!!

Yeah, if I'm close to right with my figuring, they are looking better now. Well into penalties, but not as close to 10AM. The traffic map doesn't look bad at all. I think people have different experiences with traffic so "horrible traffic" means many different things. During the IBR in 2007...

Per Google maps, and I put them a bit down the road because of the delay, these two are really dancing on the cusp of DNF. My wild speculation tells me these are NL riders, but I don't have much to back that up factually. There's a fair bit of traffic and detours reported for the Minneapolis...

I ain't Iggy, but I was there as well. It was AWESOME! After being mostly alone for days, the timed bonus in Sandpoint (which was Michael Boge's restaurant, BTW, the guy piloting his family in the sidecar) was terrific. Seeing so many other people who had been through what I had and then...

Saw that! I happened to check when they were in the middle of Lake Champlain. Cool!

Yeah, I think the Grasshopper. But I also think one of "my" peeps was elsewhere at the time, nearby, but another bonus. I'm gathering this from spot breadcrumbs, so could be wrong!

Pretty sure the group photo was not in Lemmon, but a lot of riders spent the night there. I'm having trouble figuring out exactly where it was though. Two riders who both told me they were going there never intersected.... And one turned around and headed back toward Lemmon. I dunno! I...

You're too young to be yelling at the kids to get off your lawn. It's a different time now, Matty Patty.

For most, I believe it's a string/timing thing. They have time on their hands so are cooling their heels a little. fix their hair, lipstick, you know

Is he able to ride??? Saw this on FB and Lisa said his leg was broken? I hope he's okay. I totally get not wanting to DNF, but there does come a point...

At this point, I start looking at the outliers - how far away are they. There's someone in MA that is cutting it close for a direct route back. But I keep looking at the one near Quebec City right now. The spot is set to time zone Indianapolis. I fully realize that does not mean the rider is...

I was chatting with a rider this AM who was woken by an earthquake! He was in MT, sorta north central. Not sure where the epicenter was. My friend said it was a 5.8 per local sources. Hope no riders were negatively impacted. Heck, I hope NO ONE was negatively impacted.

Very interesting. For those who haven't read, the Eureka rider is Fazer Phil and he bought a GS to finish the rally on after damaging his wheels on road debris. Speculation - the sidebar is a lengthy discussion on how speeding is seriously frowned upon, and not productive for the rider or...

Look what I found https://www.webcams.travel/webcam/1229967939-Weather-North-Sydney-North-Sydney Not sure if this will show the riders departing the ferry terminal but maybe could tell us with a bit more certainty who went to NL!

Ah right, forgot about the 6AM ferry. I saw the spots starting about 0430 local time, so that may be the case. This gives them much less time for collecting on the way back to MN. I'm guessing whatever was out there was very very worth it. Sometimes a few big rocks are better, sometimes more...

Ya gotta zoom in, there's 4 on top of each other. They were probably all together pinging away. On the way up, the spot stayed at the terminal until they arrived in Newfoundland. I'm guessing they are still on the ferry - the metal box doesn't let the signal hit the satellite
