    Buy a 2003 w/8K Miles? Advice, Please

I can understand the multiple bike syndrome, but you've already got more modern refinements in an FJR platform. Maybe look for a garage queen in something completely different? (Says the guy with the FJR and the FLHX) But about the Gen I, count me among those for whom the heat thing is a...

    Pay It Forward

My turn to offer something up: New UNI foam air filter and filter oil. I oiled it up, and then left it sitting, and I have just been using paper OEM filters. Go figure. Anyhow I've got it available. Send me your shipping address and I'll cover shipping...

Hand guards Gen II - Type, cost, install

becoyote, Somewhere on here I have an old thread detailing the installation of my V-Strom handguards, and can confirm they are compatible with a Throttlemeister, along with the big V-Stream windshield and D&D +10 bar risers. If I can find it, I'll post it for you. If you want, send me a PM...

    Harley for sale

I don't see the model year, but it looks like it might be around an '88 Evo. Is that about right? Did I miss the mileage also? Clean title or wrecked/salvage? 'fooz

Has anybody tried the Plasti-Dip on the tank? I'm interested in trying it on the lower rear section, where it seems to scratch if I look at it the wrong way. 'fooz

    Dreaded SH__46 Error

For the security Torx bits, try any of the usual auto parts places, like Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone, or O'Reilly's. I picked up a set of bits very cheaply at O'Reilly's. Put the bit into hex head socket, and you're good to go with a 1/4" rachet or driver. Hope this helps, 'fooz

    2006 FJR1300AE

Nicely equipped AE! The comments about it being registered in June of this year, yet the brakes bled in '09 and battery replaced in '11 make me curious: What went on with the bike from 2006 through June 2013? Was it a demo or something like that? 'fooz
