Me...installed new grips and made some adjustments to the bar end weights....adjusted the VistaCruise....and cursed Yamaha for not making the sidecase lid a separate part. Replacing the whole sidecase because of a cracked lid is out of the...
Just under 2000 miles on the PR3's and I love 'em. No complaints at all about how they handle the slabs on my daily commute or the Sierra mountain roads on the weekends.
Hmmmm....this is the busy summer season so you may have some trouble finding one with a vacancy. Try the Super8, about 1/2 mile from the gondola/base of Heavenly. Close to the casinos as well. Heard some good things about it.
So far so good. I haven't been able to put more than a few 100+ mile trips on it lately, along with the daily commutes. Work and family schedules doncha know. That being said, I still find it far more comfortable than the stock seat, hands-down. My only complaint to date is that I tend to slide...
True dat...108 is a nice spring day for you guys down there. I remember working in Tempe for a customer many years ago and seeing the temperature drop DOWN to 104 at midnight. :huh:
It wouldn't have gotten me killed, but I watched a young squid come to a stop at the light near our office...while riding a wheelie. He then proceeded to do a front wheel stand....
....all witnessed by the officer in the patrol car around the corner.
He got to watch the flatbed haul his Ninja...
Update....the seat still rocks. We had some serious rain over the last few weeks and the Corbin took it in stride. It didn't soak up any water that I could tell after sitting in a day's worth of downpours at our office. I haven't noticed any real difference in how my knees are bent with the...
