What did you do to your FJR today?

Rode to work. Nice sunny day with temps in the mid-50's.

    Who's dropped their FJR?

38K and no drops so far... Now that I've said it, it's gonna happen for sure.

    Members Pets

This is our lab Cody. We call this his "Remington" pose. He was utterly fascinated with the coots floating through the decoys at our duck blind last season. His first pheasant hunt... And of course, when guests are over...his "porn" pose.

What did you do to your FJR today?

Good for you...plant the seed early. :drinks: Me...installed new grips and made some adjustments to the bar end weights....adjusted the VistaCruise....and cursed Yamaha for not making the sidecase lid a separate part. Replacing the whole sidecase because of a cracked lid is out of the...

What did you do to your FJR today?

Not a damn thing. Away on a business trip and seeing the wonderful weather reports from home is making me itchy to get back.

    PR 3's

Just under 2000 miles on the PR3's and I love 'em. No complaints at all about how they handle the slabs on my daily commute or the Sierra mountain roads on the weekends.

    PR 3's

Just ordered a set of PR3's from Revzilla. Can't wait to see how they run out here in California.

Now why in the hell didn't I think of that? So simple. Thanks for the tip, Mike. :clapping:

    South Lake Tahoe Hotels/Motels

Hmmmm....this is the busy summer season so you may have some trouble finding one with a vacancy. Try the Super8, about 1/2 mile from the gondola/base of Heavenly. Close to the casinos as well. Heard some good things about it.

    Got My Antlers

+1. I found the Motech extenders work just fine.

    Goodby Stock Saddle...Hello Corbin

So far so good. I haven't been able to put more than a few 100+ mile trips on it lately, along with the daily commutes. Work and family schedules doncha know. That being said, I still find it far more comfortable than the stock seat, hands-down. My only complaint to date is that I tend to slide...

Welcome Geno...from just up the road. Enjoy the new scooter.

What stupid manuever others have done on the road!

It wouldn't have gotten me killed, but I watched a young squid come to a stop at the light near our office...while riding a wheelie. He then proceeded to do a front wheel stand.... ....all witnessed by the officer in the patrol car around the corner. He got to watch the flatbed haul his Ninja...

    Leather seats - protection

+1 here. I've used mink oil for years on baseball gloves, rifle slings, and work boots. Works for bike saddles just as well. No complaints.

    Goodby Stock Saddle...Hello Corbin

Update....the seat still rocks. We had some serious rain over the last few weeks and the Corbin took it in stride. It didn't soak up any water that I could tell after sitting in a day's worth of downpours at our office. I haven't noticed any real difference in how my knees are bent with the...
