    Skagit PowerSports Closing

Very Sad, Bill has sold the property and is in process of selling off all of his inventory.  The main store is empty with all items in the warehouse across the street.  I'll miss the occasional meeting up with folks from south and north of Skagit.

FJR still King of the Road, for me

Did a road trip last year on a wonderful 2018 HD Softail Heritage. Loved the floor boards and the engine guards are close enough to hang my feet on for a stretch. So being a good Dad, I shipped the bike to my son in Texas where he's loving it. Would you believe he had to pay sales tax on a...

    Count me in for Taos

Finally settled timing issues and signed up for a room today. Looking foward to the first "Real Trip" on the new FJR who now has a name, "Sam C" and to meeting you all in September. :D :yahoo: The Sam is for Samantha

    Multi-compound Tires and mileage

I'd just like to mention that the dual compound Dunlop D407s that come mounted on the 2009 H-D Roadglide were good for 20,000 miles. The tires that came mounted on Harleys in prior years were worn out in the 8k to 12k range. I can't give further reports on the "RG"s tires as that was the...
