well just got back. I went over 6000 ft not a single problem looks like the new ecu did the trick.

Got my letter yesterday had my new ecu installed today. I am going to take it up past 7000 ft tomorow on Hwy 88 past carson pass. I will post tomorow night to let you all know how it went. :yahoo:

yes they are taking the ecu's back. They get a huge fine from yamaha if they dont send them back as I understand.

I think the rp15y is the year the 26A i dont know. But the last 6 is and the rp15y is what I asume is the proper range. I should hear back from my dealer today if not i will go down there before work.

Yep my dealer still claims there is no bulletin. I am going to try again tomorow. I wish somone had a copy of it so I could show them to get this fixed I really want to take a mountain ride before the snow starts here.

yes my altitude surging is the EXACT same problem as the 07's. My vin is 0152 dont know if this is low or high but my bike sucks in the mountains thats for sure. I live less than an hour from prime mountain riding in three directions but i dont want to ride up there cause this bike is dangerous...
