Hi, I went with the Grip Puppies as well. I have the 2012 & they don't cause any problem with the stock heated grips. Put them on with a bit of soap and water. Dennis

Thanks for the ideas folks. I think i'll try the dealer to see if they know of someone in the area that does seat work and simply have some foam removed. Or I could opt for some KISS boots, my wife would get a hoot out of that. Wonder if they make boot farkles! :-) Take care. Dennis
