You're invited to the Big Money Rally!

Nice BMR report, Jim. You've done a great job with your "cheap" camera. It's by coincidence that there are clusters of POs around some of the dams, but great for multi-tasking. By May 12, you should have a bunch of points. Thanks for sharing.

    We lost a forum member

We're so sorry to hear about Greg. We met him during the IBR. He was a really nice guy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. Roger and Karen

Oregon will be the queen mother bitch

I don't know about Peek or Sinclair, but Meese dropped down to Oregon directly from Seattle at the start. I left the Marriot a bit after 11. I saw Ken about half way between Kalama and Castle Rock. He of course was headed back north. We gave each other a big wave and thumbs up. That gave...

    Vetter Magic Seat Board

That's why Craig was giving them away, not selling them and indicated it was no problem to copy them. I borrowed Matt's to try on my bike in the parking lot in Denver, and have to say, it didn't feel too bad in a static situation. I also had it in one of the seminars and tried it while sitting...

    Roger Van Santen needs help

I didn't actually document this ride, but it trully was saddle SORE. It was a reminder of when I started all this ld stuff--no GPS, XM, all the stuff we're used to now. I did have heat when I started ldriding and I missed that as much as anything yesterday. Other than the cold, the weather...

    Fuel Cell Recommendations

I have the McAvan cell and the GIVI rack. I had to modify the rack to clear the cell, but it wasn't extremely difficult--did it myself. Jerry, you can check it out at Gerlachfest. FWIW, for me, the McAvan cell is the best solution to carrying extra fuel. Roger

Back from the IBR - Want to say thanks

Congratulations to all of you that rode in the rally. It doesn't matter so much your finishing position--although that can be important. You all rode your hardest and did your best. You're all winners. It's always a privilege to help with the rally--and it's fun with such a great group of...

    tel at the Big Show

Not to worry, Terry. We'll take good care of you, as well as the other FJR riders, at sign-in inside the Marriot. It's Dale you have to worry about tomorrow at tech inspection. The pressure is beginning to mount here. Good luck to everyone. Roger

    2009 2 million mile push !

A bit late, but put me down for 13,093 miles year to date. Most of those miles were chasing dams (www.damtour.com), but also included a trip to Death Valley and the Cal24. Most of those miles were in March, April and May.

The Million Mile Challenge. Who's In?

If it's not too late, I have a few miles to add: 11,067 on the FJR and 4808 of the GTS. I'll probably add a few more to the FJR before the year end. ldjfr
