    2007 FJR1300AE

My wife and I used to ride 2 up a lot on weekends. She’s just not a huge fan of being on the back anymore. I work 60+ hours a week all year, so it’s not good for relationship if I take off on a ride by myself, when I’m gone all the time already. Plus we still sorta like each other too, I’d...

    2007 FJR1300AE

Time to let it go….  I used to spend hours a week on this forum, thought of it as my extended family. Attended the 2009 EOM in Johnson City, TN. Met and rode with some fantastic people. Time of my life. Sadly I don’t spend much time on 2 wheels anymore. After much thought I decided I should let...

What did you do to your FJR today?

After having the harness sitting in my garage since Oct. of '11- I figured I better get off my but and install Brody's grounding harness. Man that one near the battery was the hardest to find. Now I'm going to enjoy the Tootsie Roll he included in the kit- (think its still good?!?). Who cares-...

    AE Clutch Bleed Problems

The master cylinder for the clutch fluid is very small, and unbolts wilth one bolt- why not take it off and try "forcing" fluid through the system from the normal starting point with a large syringe or something. Yes I realize you may wind up with some air in there, but once you get it moving...

What did you do to your FJR today?

Yesterday- New PR3's mounted, cleaned up calipers and slide pins, oil change, final drive oil change, fork oil change, brake fluid change, clutch fluid change, throttle body sync. Now time to ride today (Edit: oh ya; forgot- washed and polished it up to. Looked like hell from riding in the...

    Decal set from realtime industries

I did the fairing in decals and the bags. Bags easy- fairing a little more work. My issue (I think) was not giving them enough time to fully dry. They went on perfect (nearly). No bubbles after I installed them- I let them sit overnight, and rode the next day. I think the heat from the engine...

    PR3 deals?

Time for new tires- change work locations and will be once again living up to my forum handle. Does anyone know of any Pilot Road 3 package deals? Cheapest I've found @ Motorcycle Superstore so far is $326 shipped (that's with the alternate "B" rear tire). Any tips would be much appreciated.

    OEM / FZ1 Mirror Comparison

I wish I coul remember where I ordered these from. I've been more than happy with the increased view. I barely see my arms or shoulders in the mirrors anymore, and with these little spot mirrors I have zero blind spot. Makes my commute in traffic much nicer. Pardon the mess in the garage- my...
