Time to let it go….
I used to spend hours a week on this forum, thought of it as my extended family. Attended the 2009 EOM in Johnson City, TN. Met and rode with some fantastic people. Time of my life. Sadly I don’t spend much time on 2 wheels anymore. After much thought I decided I should let it go, and hopefully someone new finds it, and joins the feejer family.

Parting ways with my FJR1300 AE, This is the YCCS shifter model for those familiar with the FJR’s. Rider adjustable windshield, heated grips. Shaft Drive.

Sort of wondered what had happened to you.  Interests morph. The only truly constant thing is change.  Best of luck in your new endeavors.

My wife and I used to ride 2 up a lot on weekends. She’s just not a huge fan of being on the back anymore. I work 60+ hours a week all year, so it’s not good for relationship if I take off on a ride by myself, when I’m gone all the time already. Plus we still sorta like each other too, I’d rather be doing something with her. I did kind of vanish from here, I apologize for not checking in once in a while. Best group I’ve ever had the pleasure of being part of. Thanks for the kind words Fred

Good luck with the sale.

I am running into the same situation. Haven't gone anywhere in the last couple of years due to the situation not to be mentioned that's goin on. I don't think the wife's been on the bike more than twice in the last year. She loves to ride but it is getting to physically challenging these days due to health. (Bad bones) I still ride almost every day to work weather permitting. I myself am not ready to give up and still have some rides to do on the bucket list. Amazing being so close but I don't recall riding together on occasions.

Be safe, Dave
