2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

Price lowered to just under $7k. If it doesn't sell at that amount, I will keep it through the winter and increase the price in the Spring. I have never had such a hard time selling anything. Only one person has come out to look at it, and that was literally a day or two after I first posted...

2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

Still available. At this point I realize that my CL ad has been truly posted only for very brief periods. The majority of the time it has only appeared to me to be posted. My guess is that someone with a competing bike and no self-respect keeps flagging my ad. I get no response to my inquiry...

Dang, the CL ad expired since I updated the price just the other day. I have reposted. You can find it in the Denver section. I don't know if this is allowed but here: https://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/5069576091.html Thanks

2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

Down to $7,500. I want it gone. At this price, perhaps a "fly and ride" would be warranted. The mountains here are incredibly beautiful.

2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

I'm don't think I am as dense as my trouble with this may suggest. I clicked the grey upper left hand tool, which grayed the other tools, and pasted a URL from snapfish, but can't seem to view the image directly. Seems like the links are not to thumbnails at least. I am of course happy to...

2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

I just created my first online photo account via snapfish and loaded the bike photos. I tried pasting the URL for each photo here but that didn't work. Help?

2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

I am embarrassed to now state that I have found it necessary to lower the asking price to $8,500. This is due to the incredibly extended sucky weather pattern here, plus I just had to cough up $40k unexpectedly. Someone come and take it.

Mileage now stands at 11,973. Asking price remains at $8,900 and will not be further reduced.

2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

Asking price now dropped to $8,900. I need to make a couple of clarifications to my opening post. Michelin tires are less than half worn. Other than a minor scrape on the front edge of the front fender that would never be casually noticed, there are no blemishes. Also, for those not aware...

I have now dropped my asking price to $9,200. How low will it go?

Thanks for the sanity check, Twigg. I kind of hate to see it go, but I have to be honest and admit that I am never going to ride it often enough to justify keeping it. I will feel happier just throwing that money at my mortgage instead.

Sorry, I just added the asking price, $9,900. I am basing this on a comparable with a dealer in Colorado Springs. Their price is a little higher with higher mileage and no farkles that I can tell. I will know in a couple weeks if mine is priced too high.

2009 FJR1300AE, LOW MILES, MANY FARKLES

Asking $9,900. Never dropped, no blemishes of any kind, garaged, well maintained with records, 11,356 miles, clean and clear title, over $1,600 in useful accessories included. This is the AE electronic shift model. There is no clutch lever. The computer-controlled electric clutch engages for...

    Helmets

Just following up to give my riding impressions on the Lazer Kestrel Carbon. The helmet is beautifully shaped and finished, showcasing the carbon fiber (sorry, I don't mess with pics much, but you can always go to the Lazer website). The fit is just right for me. My Lazer Monaco fit a bit...

BigDogRaven, I also have the Sargent on a Gen II and would like more height. I see the site recommends 11x11" for the stock seat. Did you go to the 12x12" for the Sargent?

Items for the "ideal" FJR Tool Kit

Yeah, I of course prefer the dial gauge in the garage, but this Draper 74308 pencil gauge fits much better under the seat with other items. I will rarely use it, so that trade off makes sense to me. I failed to mention that the dust cap also serves as a valve remover.
