Thank you for the TPS tip......I am still gonna replace plugs, air filter and to the TB Synch...and if that doesn't solve the problem, I will order the TPS over the winter months..... If I were double jointed, I'd be kicking myself in the can for not buying the extended warranty....

I found a thread that outlined similar symptoms very shortly after posting mine. Hope to hell my issues aren't that problematic !! If so, I will park this thing untl next spring and trade it in on a new one ! !

My first answer is yes....but it also depends on the length of the trip. I have an Olympia mesh jacket.....with the liner in it, along with my Gerbings liner, it is good into the low 40s.........if I were on a trip where I was expecting hours of low 40s, I would wear my textile jacket...

My son has a an 08 DL 650....off road capabilities? Keep in mind that #1, it is NOT a motocross bike...but put more off road oriented tires on it, and it will do just fine for what most of us are going to do. Downside to THAT, is the off road oriented your tires are, the less "sport oriented"...
