I also did the ride in seat build at Corbin and am very happy with it. The stock seat was unbearable. I've done 8-12 hours days on the Corbin seat no problem. They give you the opportunity to ride on the seat a little before they cover it. Definitely take advantage of that and keep doing it...

Same here. So far I've only seen it vary by 2 mph uphill and 1 mph downhill.

Great idea. The only thing I worry about is adding even more stress to the rear subframe that is already having issues. I wonder if the Shad mounting hardware somehow reinforces it like the Givi mount seems to. Or is it like the OEM top case where you can mount the top case or side bags, but...
