Continuing to dig, I cannot find any difference between the D1s and the D1R. Interesting. These are factory replacements for Escalades and some Volkswagons. They all seem to be 35w, Which is what we have anyway.

I found this. Not much help though. I have the same lights and not exactly sure which one is in there. This page may indicate one may be 35 watt and the other 55 watt...

Oh yes, Light years ahead of the 550. While the 550 has served me faithfully for 6 years, I replaced it with the 590 and it is worth every cent,IMO

I always loved my AV45-46's in the corners, But had the low speed wobble from the front tire. I hope these are perfection. At $350 a set, I will hold off a while.

Still happy with my MotoBatt i bought a couple years ago. The battery competition is a good thing for us. I'm not opposed to trying new stuff. It keeps the joy of tinkering on the bike fun! So, Someone buy this thing, And give us a report back in a couple years! :P
