Hey All! I've been putting a lot of thought into changing hobbies, my motivation to ride has been dwindling and after a long talk, my wife and I decided we'd like to sell the bike and find a Miata.

I love this FJR and I've taken meticulous care of it. Please check out my craigslist post and please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

I'm asking well under book because the bike has 67k miles on it. I know everyone on here knows that's no big deal, but I just didn't feel like haggling over the price with anyone in my area, and with that said, I don't want to try to make more off someone who's not concerned about the miles. I just want a simple sale so I can get some top down fun before the air turns cold. :)

If I sell the bike w/out them, I'll be sure to let you know.

You could have the Senas for $5800 and I'll throw a bike in for free ;)

Billy, if one is good, then two are better!! ;)

Thanks for the luck. Everyone in central ky wants a rocket.

Due to the proximity of a couple deals on Miatas in my area, I'm a motivated seller. I can shave a couple unmounted extras like the oversized screen and bluetooth radios and we can negotiate price if you're on the fence about contacting me :)

$4800 before it goes to a dealer on tuesday.

There's a catch (damn it), I just realized I've misplaced the title and I'm going down tomorrow morning to file for an expedited duplicate title. Make a verbal commitment and it's yours. :)

Thanks for the good words.

I know I'm up against the wall with it dipping into September. Just trying my damnedest to do a little better than dealer offer and take care of a fellow rider.

Good luck but don't "give" the bike away. I run a Mini Cooper S and the FJR - big fun - wouldn't part with either one.

I'm mentally invested in a Miata right now. I swear, it's like they only made 10 of these things and NONE of them are selling in Ky (that aren't automatic, anyway)

There's a reprieve on the dealer trip. I'll be taking it to the dealer in Ohio on Friday.

Speak in the next 5 days or forever hold your peace. ;)

I understand what you are going through. Two years ago I bought a 2007 Miata Retractable Hard Top (Graphite Grey). Kept the FJR though. I went with the auto trans as that was exatly what I wanted.

By the way I sent my son a text about your bike as he has been looking a bit but may not be ready to buy yet.

Good Luck with your sale.

Very cool, let me know if he has any interest.

I wish I could find a prht for less than 16k, but they're very nice. I'll keep an eye out for a pant-matched removable hard top.

I may get an fjr again in the future. It's the perfect bike for me... It's just that motorcycling, in general, isn't perfect for me now. The miata is going to be my transition toy. Something the wife and I can jump in and go to tennessee for the weekend. :)

Plus... Autocross.

In all honesty, I may pick up a track bike in the spring. No cross traffic or telephone poles on the track.
