2014 FJRES1300 LED issues

I built an LED array for a license plate frame.

Left and right turn signals have there own LED's, as well as the Brake Light, which uses 2 LED's.

The running lights use 4 LED's.

The entire lighting system works as designed; brake, running lights, and turn signals/4-way flasher with the key in the On position. After connecting the new LED's, starting the engine causes the turn signals/4-way flashers to stop working? Turn the engine off and wait 10-30 seconds and the turn signals/4-way flasher work with the key in the On position again. Start the engine and they stop working? The brake and running lights operate while the engine is running.

Do I need to add a diode to each circuit, to stop the issue?

I am interested in this because I am considering towing a Yakama cargo box and would use LED for brake and turn signal lights. Any one who tows have a similar issue?

Engine running puts on the headlights and the heated grips supply. Any chance you could have got some wiring confused? Not that I can see how that would affect things.

The owner had an Admore on it and everything functioned, until the rain shorted it out.

The bike wiring extension works. The LED's work.

I haven't seen the bike, I'm in Oregon and the owner is in Nevada, so I can't verify his work.

I don't usually allow him to touch anything that has electricity running through it.

He installed LED replacement lamps in his turn signals and everything is working again, when it's running.

I tow a trailer with LED running/brake/turn signals.

I just spliced into the tail harness wiring with no issues.

The new LED's had different electronics, than the Admore and effected the outcome.
