I have an Abba Skylift collecting dust. It is a shame Abba doesn't make adapter kits for these bikes. Unless there is a reason that I am unaware of. Des anyone know of a work-around for this? Here it is holding up my 545lb wet, 2018 Ducati Xdiavel S (sold). It is a beautiful thing if it can be used. From maintenance to detail work, I love this lift.

There is a thread on the other FJR board that shows how to do it.

Looks like their youtube video is no longer available. I have the Skylift, but they refer to the Abba stand which is a different unit, but this gives me hope as the fittings should fir the skylift the same. With the Skylift, to get both wheels off of the ground, you have to use the included strap to either the rear axle, or swingarm (as shown if you open up the second photo I attached all the way). I will see if Abba can send me the bolts/hardware as nickhlx stated. Thank-you!

I just got the “Superbike Stand” and the “10mm version of our swing-arm removal kit (fitted to the lower sub frame mount).”

Abba also stated, “This will allow you to use the superbike stand ONLY to remove the swing-arm.”

I purchased it to do my maintenance. We can remove the final drive; swingarm; centre-stand; and relay arm for servicing. Expensive, but not as expensive as a dangerous set-up which falls over and cause more damage and $$$ than the cost of the stand.

The only issue I found (not documented elsewhere!) is on the Gen3, both rider foot pegs fouled on the stand as I raised it, causing gouge marks on the pegs. Grrrr!

The solution is to use cable ties to hold the pegs in an upright position before using the stand.
