My friends and I flew on Nine-O-Nine a few years ago at their stop in San Diego. There was a group of seniors, members of the Old, Bold Pilots group. Loved hearing them share stories among themselves. The best was the 16-year-old whose grandfather flew B-17s in WWII and he was fascinated by that era and these warbirds. He wanted to experience what his grandfather did by taking that flight. Truly an impressive teen.

My friends and I are heartbroken over this loss of life and history.

Tragic.  Co-worker and his family flew on it in 2001.  7 fatalities.

Myself along with my son and 2 buddies flew in a sister ship B-17 a couple years ago.  Absolutely one of the coolest things I have ever done.
