My wife on her FZ1 and I on my FJR went with friends from Paso Robles, CA to SLC for the WSB races. Our route was thru Yosemite and over Tioga pass to Lee Vining, then to Tonopah, NV, north on 375 and east on hwy 50 to Ely, NV, then on to Toella, UT and Miller Motorsports park. Two days of great racing (go Ben!), then home via Boise, ID, eastern Oregon, Alturas, CA, Sacramento, tour of the gold rush towns, then home. 2500 miles total. The FJR was perfect. Quite a bit of rain and T-storms.

Can't wait for the next ride!

Sounds like a great ride! I lived in Lee Vining way back in the mid to late 50's, graduating from LVHS in '59... there were 6 in my class! Beautiful but severe country, especially for the city boy I was, having been raised in San Francisco. I love that area.

Thanks for firing up the old "Memory synapses"!
